Ourstory
Gans Anders is not an ordinary name – and that was never the plan. Born from the idea of doing a festival differently, we now stand for events, culture and a venue that moves Innsbruck.
Founded & first festival
A group of friends founds Gans Anders — originally to apply for a government grant for outdoor events. In September the first festival follows, despite COVID restrictions and in the middle of the company formation.
Halle 5 — our home base
We move into a former warehouse in St. Bartlmä, Innsbruck. Renovation begins — today Halle 5 is our creative home.
BoGansa — the mountains call
In collaboration with Bonanza, the first BoGansa events take place at the Rosshütte in Seefeld. What starts as an experiment becomes one of the most popular mountain parties around Innsbruck.
Breakthrough
The third Gans Anders Festival works in every way for the first time. The revenue flows directly back into Halle 5 — the venue grows, so does the team.
New formats, more energy
GA Cribs as a community day rave, MUSE as a techno night, BoGansa in its fourth edition — and a fourth festival. Gans Anders is now more than just an idea.
Gabonsa
Gans Anders and Bonanza merge – Gabonsa is born.
